April is your favorite clinical operations professional’s favorite clinical operations professional. She has built an impressive career across the pharmaceutical industry, with experience spanning academic medical centers, CROs, and both emerging and global sponsor organizations. She brings a rare blend of hands-on operational excellence and high-level strategic, financial, and technical oversight—positioning her to seamlessly lead and scale complex clinical programs.

 

A true multi-hyphenate, April’s expertise extends beyond clinical research operations and project management to include professional career coaching, student success (essays and interview preparation), and endurance sports, with a focus on distance running events.

 

In addition to her consulting work, April is a sought-after voice in clinical research and academic spaces. She has contributed as a panelist for the Howard University Research Centers in Minority Institutions Program in partnership with Black Women in Clinical Research, and at the Black Women in Clinical Research Conference 2024, where she led discussions on resume strategy, career development, and moderated the “Elevate Your Path in Clinical Research” panel. She also serves on the Honors College Scholarship Selection Review Committee at North Carolina A&T State University, supporting the next generation of high-achieving scholars.

 

An accomplished endurance athlete, April has completed seven marathons and a half marathon in all 50 states. As a fit specialist and event advisor, she brings a refined, detail-oriented approach to the planning and execution of endurance events—overseeing logistics, volunteers, vendors, and overall event quality with precision and care.
